Originally from western Kentucky, Lori has spent a good portion of her adult life in larger cities. After attending college in Chicago, where she studied English and Theatre, she found a career in the travel industry.  In 2000, when she decided that writing was part of her next path, she joined a local writer’s group. In 2015, she was nominated as a Golden Heart finalist for historical fiction. The following year, she published Faire Game, a time travel novel, with Wild Rose Press. Lori has spent most of her adult life traveling to faires and fields throughout the United States, and the United Kingdom searching for all things historical and literary. She lives in Florida with her husband and several very spoiled pets.
